LEGAL NOTICE VILLAGE OF BREWSTER ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Brewster will hold a Public Hearing to hear the following application for 120 Marvin Avenue and 143 Main Street, 67.35-1-10, located in the B-3 District. The applicant seeks relief from area variances are sought from the Zoning Board of Appeals in connection with the proposed subdivision of Tax Parcel 67.35-1-10 into two tax parcels of property, one with the street address of 120 Marvin Avenue (proposed Lot 1), the other having the street address of 143 Main Street (proposed Lot 2).  No physical alteration of structures or premises is proposed.  The subdivision of the parcel causes the following variances from the Village of Brewster Zoning Table: Lot 1 requests relief on the 10-foot front yard setback as it is currently 5.4 feet, relief on the 10-foot (residential) side yard width setback as it is currently 0 feet and relief on the maximum lot coverage of 50% which is currently 62%. Lot 2 requests relief on the 10-foot side yard setback as it is currently 1.3 feet. The Public Hearing for the Zoning Board of Appeals will be on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at Village Hall, 50 Main Street, Brewster, NY 10509.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Planning Board of the Village of Brewster has canceled their meeting on May 16, 2023, and rescheduled for May 23, 2023.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Planning Board of the Village of Brewster will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Village Law Section 7-728 and Village of Brewster Code Section 182-2 to hear the following applications. The first application for 99-101 Main Street for 6 additional apartments and SERQA Determination in the B3 District. The second application for the subdivision of 120 Marvin Avenue and 143 Main Street and a SEQRA Determination. The Public Hearing for the Planning Board will be on May 23, 2023, at 7:30 PM at Village Hall, 50 Main Street, Brewster, NY 10509, all interested persons shall be heard on the subject thereof.  The Planning Board will make every effort to assure that the Public Hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.  Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Village Clerk. Earth Day Clean-Up 2023 - April 22-23, 2023

The Village of Brewster and the Town of Southeast will be working together on a clean-up for Earth Day. There will be a booth at 67 Main Street, Old Town Hall, from 8 AM to 12 PM, where residents will receive bags, gloves, and vests, while supplies last. Those cleaning up a certain part of the Village need to notify Village Hall via email before the event or on a sign up sheet the day of the clean up. You can This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name, where you will be cleaning, and what day to ensure the entire Village is covered. If you have any questions, please include them in your email or stop by the booth on April 22nd and 23rd.
