MINUTES
Present: Chairperson Christine Piccini; Board Members: Rick Stockburger David Kulo.
Others present: Paul Pelusio, Village Engineer
The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Minutes:
Review of minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 24, 2007 was deferred until the meeting scheduled for September 26, 2007.
New Business :
851 Route 22 (67.36-2-3). Dr. Aqeel returned to Planning Board for comments on the project because he has applied for the Special Use Permit from the Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster. Paul Pelusio provided comments on the project as presented to the Village Board and noted the corrections that needed to be made to the site plans (corrections were “typos”). Dr. Aqeel stated that he wanted to erect a flag pole not to exceed 24 feet on the site and light it via a spot light. Rick Stockburger made a motion to recommend that the VOB Board of Trustees grant the Special Use Permit with the condition that the corrections as noted be made and the flag pole be included in the project. David Kulo seconded the motion and it was approved.

Other Business:
NYPF Planning and Zoning Conference is scheduled October 7-9, 2007 in Saratoga Springs. Registration forms must be submitted by September 14, 2007. Rick Stockburger and David Kulo expressed interest in attending. Christine Piccini is unable to attend. Christine send email to Mark Anderson with information and call Jim Bruen to encourage him to attend. Conference attendance will fulfill the 4 hour training requirement. Jim Bruen is the only member who still needs to meet the requirement.
David Kulo made a motion to close the meeting at 7:55 PM. Rick Stockburger seconded the motion. All agreed.

Subject: Application for Approval of Special Permit from Dr. Nasser Aqeel
Subway Shop- 851 Route 22 - 67.36-2-3
During the August 22, 2007 Regular Monthly Meeting, the Planning Board reviewed the application as submitted for the Special Use Permit, as well as the comments provided by Paul Pelusio of J.Robert Folchetti & Associates. The applicant, Dr. Aqeel, will make the corrections listed by the engineer to the final set of documents. Additionally, Dr. Aqeel will include an exterior flag pole and spot light to the site plan. Once these corrections/additions have been provided we recommend that Village of Brewster Board of Trustees grant the Special Use Permit.
