Straight-line Sewer Rents
Village of Brewster Sanitary Sewer System
Defined as all pipes, pumping stations, filtration buildings and equipment, and all cost associated with operating the Sewer System, including but not limited to; land permits, utilities, electric, personnel, maintenance, repair, insurance, litigation, public safety, security, emergencies, spare parts, materials, contractor and subcontractor services. All properties connected to the sewer system must pay for usage based on this Sewer Rent Schedule.

Usage is based on 100% water consumption billed in advance based on most recent 3 month water bill or estimate thereof.  This sewer rent (rate) will become effective with the August 1, 2009 billing.

All Rates are per unit
1. All Sewer Customers

• 0 to 999,999,999 Gallons Per Annum (GPA) - $0.013 per gallon billed quarterly

2. Flat Rate in Village, no water meter, broken water meter, $6,000.00 per unit per annum billed quarterly
Broken meter, bad reading, short reading: prorated based on average metered usage determined solely by the Village.  When no metered history is available, the flat rate of $6,000.00 per unit per year will be used.
Payments
Payments are due no later than 30 days from the bill date, regardless of when it was received by the customer.
Penalties for late payment
Unpaid balances after the due date will be charged a 10% penalty.
