PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Village Law Article 11, Establishment of WATER RENTS, prescribing the basis of charges, due dates, penalties and or discounts, and other related issues – The Public Hearing will take place at the Village Board Meeting of MONDAY JUNE 30, 2008, at Village Hall, 208 Main Street, Brewster, NY, at 7:30 P.M. Anyone wishing to speak may do so as time permits.
Current Water rents prorated during the billing period:
1. Metered Water Customers Inside and Outside Village:
12,000 Gallons Per Annum (GPA) – minimum usage at $0.0125 per gallon
12,001 to 50,000 GPA at $0.0125 per gallon
50,001 to 200,000 GPA at $.0.015 per gallon
200,001 GPA and upward at $0.02 per gallon
2. Peaceable Hill Water District: - $0.015 per gallon constant
3. Flat Rate in Village (no meter): $1,600.00
4. Flat Rate outside Village (no meter): $2,000
Note: Broken meter, bad reading, suspect reading: usage will be prorated based on average metered usage where available and determined solely by the Village. When no metered history is available, the flat rate will apply.

Town of Southeast Residents/Peaceable Hill Water District: - $0.02 per gallon constant
3. Flat Rate in Village (no meter): $3,200.00
4. Flat Rate outside Village (no meter): $4,000

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster will hold a Special Meeting on MONDAY, JUNE 30, 2008 at 7:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as time permits, at Village Hall, 208 Main Street, Brewster, NY, to adopt revised WATER RENTS, adopt a resolution in support of Founders Day, and discuss Parking rules and regulations in the Village of Brewster.
